Emily Braman has been a business owner, working mom and dedicated community volunteer for over 20 years.  She is the visionary behind Ascend Appraisers, LLC, an innovative membership organization dedicated to empowering women in the real estate appraisal profession. 

At the helm of a thriving 7-figure real estate appraisal firm for over two decades, Emily's leadership reflects a profound commitment to excellence, integrity, and inclusivity, principles that are also at the core of Ascend Appraisers LLC. She’s expanded her reach to create the first membership organization in the real estate appraisal field, mentoring women in a male dominated industry.

As a business owner and a devoted mother of four (mostly grown) amazing kids, Emily's journey is a testament to her unparalleled ability to balance the demanding roles of entrepreneurship, family life, and community involvement with grace and determination.  She has served multiple terms as the president of her school district's Parent Teacher Organization, her local Community Organization and the Ohio Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.  She has been able to accomplish all this with the support and assistance of her wonderful stay-at-home husband who encourages her in all her endeavors.

When she’s not working, Emily loves to cook for her friends and family, practicing yoga, gardening, reading, walking her dogs around the community, and sitting on the beach talking shop with women business owners!
